During the Sunday weekly programme on AG Radio last night, Mr. Gibril Fadia a panel member of the AG radio, a political commentator and a staunch advocate of the APRC expressed his disappointment regarding former President Yahya Jammeh’s recent audio.

“In light of the recent WhatsApp audio from Yahya Jammeh that has been circulating on social media, I believe he should not have released the audio at all. I support Jammeh wholeheartedly; my admiration for him is unwavering, and I continue to help him to the best of my abilities. However, had I been in a position to advise him, I would have suggested that he refrain from making any audio.” Mr. fadia said.

“The audio you ought to have made was one to express your apologies to the Gambians for all the wrongdoings you have committed. particularly those who have lost their lives during your tenure in office. This should have been the very first audio you made instead of discussing politics. The lives of the people hold far greater significance than politics. It seems you should receive some advice on this matter.” Gibril Fadia expressed

Gibril Fadia stated that there is solely one registered APRC political party. Mr. Fadia was reacting to yahya Jammeh’s recent audio expelling Lamin Tamba, Foday Chorr, Aisha Cole, Habbib Seck, Yahya Tamba, and Pa Modou Mbowe.

“Despite the fact that you are the founder of the APRC, there is a structured component. If an individual approaches the IEC, they will request that you gather your supporters, indicating that a single person cannot establish a political party on his own. The people constitute a political party. After leading the people for 22 years, it seems you now resist the idea of being led yourself. Please refrain from making WhatsApp audio.” Mr. Fadia remarked.

“Although you may not like the current President of the Gambia, he is the person that Gambians have elected, and we must accept and respect the will of the people. This is why you should give full respect to President Adama Barrow despite everything that occurred in 2016. At present, President Barrow serves as the President of the Gambia, and it is essential for everyone to uphold the constitution of the Gambia.” Mr. Fadia concluded.
