    US: Trump Affirms Plan to Use US Military to Carry Out Mass Deportations.

    Donald Trump has stated that he is ready to declare a national emergency and utilize military resources to fulfill his promise of mass deportation.

    In response to a Truth Social post by Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, concerning certain reports, the president-elect stated: “TRUE!!!”

    In the process of shaping his administration, Trump has put forth the nomination of Brendan Carr to serve as chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the organization responsible for overseeing US media regulations.

    As a current commissioner at the FCC, Carr played a role in the contentious Project 2025 manifesto. The president-elect characterizes him as “a warrior for Free Speech… [who] has battled the regulatory Lawfare that has suppressed Americans’ Freedoms and hindered our Economy.”

    Trump has not yet revealed his selection for treasury secretary, but two new candidates are expected to be interviewed at Mar-a-Lago today: former Federal Reserve governor Kevin Warsh and Wall Street billionaire Marc Rowan.

    Howard Lutnick, co-chair of Trump’s transition team, and Scott Bessant, founder of Key Square Capital Management, were leading candidates for the position, but it seems there have been some reconsiderations.

    In the meantime, President Joe Biden has authorized the deployment of American-made long-range missiles to Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, prompting a strong reaction from conservatives.
