SENEGAL: President Diomaye Faye is Set to Implement Measures Aimed at Reducing Cost of Living

The head of government made announcements before Parliament yesterday regarding a second phase of measures aimed at reducing the cost of living. “The second phase of measures aimed at reducing the cost of living will be implemented soon.” Ousmane Sonko stated, “The head of state will announce this drop in prices to the Senegalese.” Adama Diallo, the deputy mayor of Gossas, questioned him about the effects of the initial measures implemented by the Bassirou Diomaye Faye regime to alleviate the situation for the population.
