    GAMBIA: What Accounts for the State’s Silence Regarding the many Questionable and Mysterious sudden Deaths?

    Recently, there have been numerous questionable instances of purported suicide across the nation. The validity of these case scenarios involving suicide, a serial killer on a rampage, or human sacrifices for sinister purposes is yet to be determined.

    According to Mr. Suwareh, instances of individuals taking their lives are something new in Gambia which are seldom acknowledged in our community, regardless of the hardships faced, the crimes committed, or the circumstances surrounding them or their families. Reported cases of alleged suicide by hanging are increasingly frequent in the Gambia, yet there has been no explanation from the authorities regarding the factors contributing to this trend.

    In a further update concerning the enigmatic deaths of Gambians. Mr. Suwareh remarked that several individuals with strong connections to State House passed away under mysterious circumstances. The most recent one involves retired Army General Lamin Bojang, a distinguished military officer and leader of the Alliance for National Reorientation and Development (ANRD).

    Sources said that he recently arrived in Banjul from Bissau and was invited at the State House. After eating something there, he began to complain of stomach pain. “Mr. Bojang passed away after being taken to the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul,” Mr. Suwareh added.
