According to a media release, Momodou Sabally, the National People’s Party’s (NPP) deputy campaign manager and special presidential adviser, has been named the party’s National Youth President.
According to the statement below, six additional party members—Abdoulie Cham, Hon. Ramzia Diab, Mr. Musa B. Susso, Mr. Omar Biyai, Mr. Yusupha Jammeh, and Mr. Lamin Saho—were equally assigned to different positions within the party:
The following changes and appointments to the Party’s National and Youth wing Executive Committees have been approved by His Excellency Mr. Adama Barrow, the Secretary General and Party Leader of the National People’s Party (NPP), in accordance with the Party’s Constitution and Resolution 001/2025 of the 2025 NPP National Congress. These appointments take effect immediately and are communicated to the general public, which includes officials, members, and supporters of the NPP:
- Mr. Momodou Sabally formerly deputy Campaign Manager, is appointed as National Youth President of the NPP.
- Mr. Abdoulie Cham, formerly Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing, is appointed as Deputy National Campaign Manager.
- Hon. Ramzia Diab is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member.
- Mr. Musa B. Susso is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member.
- Mr. Omar Biyai is appointed as a Co-opted National Executive Member.
- Mr. Yusupha Jammeh of Tanjeh is appointed as Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing.
- Mr. Lamin Saho is appointed as Deputy Public Relations Officer of the National Youth Wing.
