A Briefing on Affordable Housing for Gambians Is Received by President Barrow and His Cabinet.
During a meeting held at the State House in Banjul on Wednesday, President Adama Barrow met with representatives from the Ministry of Lands, Regional Government, and Religious Affairs.
The visit was made with the intention of providing the President with an update on the initiative to provide affordable housing. The goal of the project is to provide Gambians with housing that is both decent and affordable. The project will initially concentrate on the West Coast Region.
As part of the National Development Plan, President Barrow expressed his approval of the decision to provide affordable housing and aligned it with the YIRIWA. When it comes to ensuring that government procedures are adhered to, he emphasised the importance of seeking legal advice.
