Ahead of the much anticipated public hearings, the Special Select Committee on the sale and disposal of assets identified by the Commission of Inquiry associated with Former President Yahya AJJ Jammeh and related matters concludes a two-day capacity building training.
The training facilitated by legal experts, forensic auditors, and governance specialists aims to equip the committee with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively investigate and scrutinise the sale and disposal of assets associated to the Former President Jammeh.
Hon. Abdoulie Ceesay the Chairperson of the Special Select Committee, emphasised the importance of training, highlighting the crucial role of the committee to ensure its mandate is carried with integrity, transparency and professionalism.
The Deputy Clerk for Administration and Finance, Mr Buba ME Jatta highlighted the National Assembly’s commitment to upholding good governance adding that this inquiry will solidify the image and credibility of the National Assembly in upholding to the principles of Transparency.
