Officers from the Kalagi Police Department have arrived at the scene of a tragic road traffic collision that involved a GTSU bus with the registration number KM 4845 K. The bus was traveling from Bwiam to Soma.
The preliminary findings of the inquiry show that the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle as soon as it reached Kalagi, which resulted in the vehicle veering off the road. There were other people who sustained injuries and were transported to the Kalagi Health Centre for medical attention.
Yahya Mballow, 29, from Wellingara Kejew, and one female who has not been identified have been verified to have passed away. The police are currently investigating the events that led up to the accident and are urging all drivers to exercise caution, observe to speed restrictions, and make sure that their cars are roadworthy at all times.
