People throughout the world are trying to figure out how a second term for Donald Trump will change global affairs. As Trump claims to reverse global disrespect for the US with his “America First” policy, America’s friends are also uncertain. Trump has called for a cease-fire in the Israel-Gaza war but has not specified how. Trump criticized NATO in his first term for their financial dependence on the US. Trump and his future vice president, Sen. JD Vance, are also skeptical of U.S. financial aid to Ukraine. The Trump presidency may not be bad for Muslims. Concerns exist, but optimism exists too.
